  1. Open Netscape
  2. Click Tasks
  3. Click Mail & Newsgroups
  4. Ensure ISP or email provider is selected
  5. Click Next
  6. Your Name: Enter the name you want to be associated with your e-mail address
    Email Address: Enter your full e-mail address
  7. Click Next
  8. Incoming Server
    Server Type: Ensure POP Mail Server is selected
    Server Name: Enter the POP server info provided by PSNI (usually mail.domainname.com)
  9. Outgoing (SMTP) Server
    Server Name: Enter the SMTP server info provided by PSNI (usually smtp.domainname.com)
  10. Click Next
  11. User Name: Enter your full e-mail address
  12. Click Next
  13. Account Name: Enter your full e-mail address
  14. Click Next
  15. Check all entries for accuracy
    Note: To edit any entry use the Back button to return to that screen and make the correction.
  16. Click Finish
  17. Click Mail & Newsgroups
  18. Click Servers
  19. Server Name: Enter the SMTP server info provided by PSNI
    Use name and password box checked
    User Name: Enter your full e-mail address
    Critical Note: If this is not checked and user name is not entered you will not be able to send e-mail through PSNI mail system
    Use secure connection (SSL) - Never selected
  20. Click OK
