Windows Outlook 2002 Account Setup

- Open Microsoft Outlook 2002
- Click Tools
- Click Accounts
- Select Add a new e-mail account
- Click Next
- Select POP3
- Click Next

User Information
Your Name: Enter your name you wish to be displayed with your e-mail address. E-Mail Address: Enter your full e-mail address.

Server Information
Incoming mail server (POP3): Enter the POP server info provided by PSNI (usually mail.domainname.com). Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter the SMTP server info provided by PSNI (usually mail.yourdomainname.com).

Logon Information
User Name: Enter your full e-mail address Password: Enter your password. (All passwords at PSNI are case sensitive) Remember password Normally left checked Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) Do not check this box.
- Click More Settings, type the Mail Account field with your full e-mail address.
- Click Outgoing Server tab.
- Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
Critical Note: If this is not checked you will not be able to send e-mail through PSNI mail system. Ensure Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
- Click OK
- Click Next
- Click Finished
